I have always adopted
animals from a shelter and will always do so. The loyalty
and genuine affection I receive from these "throw aways" to
me outshines any dog bred for sale. I love their spirit and
their issues and fears keep me sane, humble and grateful in
a way that I miss if I had bought a dog from a breeder.
My shelter dogs let me know
every day that I can make at least a tiny difference and
bring happiness where there was very little.
