Holly
Holly is
a big softy and her three favourite things in life are having
her tummy scratched, sleeping and eating, pretty much in that
order. Well we all hoped that she would teach Jameson a few
manners but alas, this has not transpired. When Holly came to
live with us I thought she could not bark. She did not make a
sound for several weeks and was very shy and retiring. Nowadays
she barks like a guard dog, chases birds around the garden and
plays with Jameson as if they were best friends from birth.
Jameson and Holly have become the most unlikely partners in
crime. I think Holly genuinely loves Jameson and in fact Jameson
is quite attached to Holly. We all sleep on the same bed and
form our own little pack. Holly’s best part of the day starts
when I open my bedroom door at night and access is granted to
the big bed! I swear I can see her face light up!! She sleeps
alongside me with her head on the pillow like a human. Jameson
sleeps in the crook of my legs. Sometimes we sleep like spoons
all tucked in with our legs and arms facing one direction. Holly
and Jameson kiss every morning – deep throated French kisses
which gross me out – must be dog thing! Jameson loves to swim
but Holly is just a big dipper.
Holly
also loves her toys. Rogz is her favourite and she often falls
asleep with her toys tucked under a paw.
